GalleonA Poem by SoftcloudsA lil' poem I wrote about a "boss" in an online game, as a tribute to how he helped me out. The poem follows the actual chain of in-game events for that time.Once there was a creature Found within a game Huge, hideous and harmless Galleon was his name He wasn't very smart But he was my friend And we'd stick together Until the end In a ring of mammoths I fought a bear It was relentless It had no fear I cried for help And what did I hear A distant yelp He was coming here Despite being outnumbered And had no chance at all Galleon approached Answering to my call The bears heart Had it's final beat As it was crushed Under Galleons feet But Galleon my friend, You're a loyal fool You put yourself exposed Surrounded by wool One beautiful beast One shrill cry One life ceased One last goodbye And hurr durr he died end of story
