The Past Is Never Dead

The Past Is Never Dead

A Poem by Mystica
"

Face whatever haunts you,it is the key to freedom

"
Hear! Hear! flashing lights and roaring bombs
And battalions marching towards death
The sins of the fathers are not the sons
What are we fighting for in end?

Words cut deep within the soul
It is a sword that killed many dreams
We who hold the gun of misery
And a single thought pulls its trigger

Are we pure enough to speak the truth?
When our eyes told lies we committed
Are we righteous enough to give verdict?
When our deeds in the end are yet to be judged

It is fated that this world will die
But the idealism remains immortal
For the past is never dead, it only has begun
And the trial is yet to come!
