The Mask of Society

The Mask of Society

A Poem by Mystica
"

A short poem for those who feel lonely to let you know that you're not alone.

"
The Shore sweeps me away
From the sands and rocks
The waves threatening to pull under
And the society told me it was only an illusion

It is nothing more but a figment of imagination
A superficial believe,a mirror within out of reach
They condemned without seeing
And judged without listening

Who does need a shadow when there is sun?
They never bother when you have none
Pull them towards the hurricane and you'll soon see
The selves whom they regretted to be

Kinda very interesting and realistic piece of art you've dripped down in words. The world's full of crowded people, but still... it's alone. Everybody's lone in their own... no matter what. Something missing in their lives which further makin' them feel not so special. Your poetry seemed quite aspiring to some extent.

Looking forward to reading your work!
