Random revelations

Random revelations

A Poem by Nurhanne Hassan
"

Completely random and off-key.. Yet sincere

"
Sometimes I lie down and close my eyes
And right then i see a sky
Not the one hovering above me
But one that's deep set in your eye
This time I reach out and grab a star
The one that's drawn on your arm
It bathes me in its glow
And shakes me with warmth
This time I saw it rain
Standing there bravely
Exhibiting your pain
This time I saw the sun
Lighting up all galaxies
When you smiled ever so sweetly
It took me a while but now I know
The sky is not above nor below
The sky is everywhere you feel free
The sky is merely you and me.

"And right then i see a sky
Not the one hovering above me"------ I think what you meant here is 'cloud' instead of sky.

"But one that's deep set in your eye "----- Love the twist here

"This time I saw it rain
Standing there bravely "------ 'It rain', not sure that is a good verb to personify a star, perhaps 'rain with flares' or 'rain with fire'

Other than that I always love to read your poems! Helua catheer :p
