Dear Queen Ruin

Dear Queen Ruin

A Poem by O. Brink

I thought I could open myself to you,
That you could walk within my soul,
Again.

I thought we could be true,
That we could make diamonds from coal,
Again.

I thought that we both grew,
That time took its toll,
Again.

Again, my heart you slew.

Again, you left me in the cold.

Again.

I have nothing left for you.
