Exposed Beach

I have exposed myself to the depths of the sea.
Waves of thoughts tell me which way to swim.
Hoping I'll gain access to a current.
It's the flow of the river.
Not the motion of the ocean.
Nursed waves lapping the crest.
Warm waters.
Full bellies.
Fierce sun.
Clearing gales.
Mountains of dunes.
The heart knows what the tides bring.
Searing deeply into chambered places.
New craters to explore.
New currents to sway me.
Grander urges to follow.
Hours spent playing.
Castles in the sand.
Be dirty and feel clean.
Scrub away skin.
What the beach is for.
