Wondering

Wondering

A Poem by So Sick of Love
"

heartbreak

"

I lay my head down

On my knees

Crying as I

Think of you

And all our memories

We had made

Wondering if what

You did was

Worth losing me

Crying as I

Remember your hand

Holding mine

Your lips kissing

Mine

Telling me you

Love me

Feeling my heart break

As I see

You kiss her

As I hear

You tell her

I love you

Like you used

To tell me

Wondering if you

Really meant those

Three words you

Said to me

The last stanza really sums it up well. When "I love you" is said so easily and so often, it's rarely sincere and someone gets hurt. You expressed your thoughts and feelings really well.

A very sad poem. After a separation we feel alone and question the why and the because. Emotion of sadness is strong in your words. A excellent poem. Thank you.

Man, I think we've all been there. You definitely make people feel your emotions. Good job! :)
