The ones I keep

The ones I keep

A Poem by HeazerH

Clutching the notebook
Close to my side
Avert my eyes
Cover the page
These secrets want to burst
But I am too controlled
Clench it closer
Guarded
Scowl if someone tries to peep
Then he inquired:
If you never say, how will I know?
That is the point
The only secrets are the ones I get to keep
