Crickets

Crickets

A Poem by HeazerH

The crickets sing their song
A navy sky hovers above
A new spring fills the air
The charcoal in my nose
Vibrance on the space between us
A gentle love
Quiet and magnetic
We take our time
Wait on the grill
We hear water splash
And share dream
In silence
No words needed
A common strand
We can not describe
My legs stretch in front
I stare and you catch my gaze
We feel the tiny distance
Yet we are one, the same
