Through The Rain: The Beginning Of Self Isolation.A Story by Christina Ann Banana HamokShort story I wrote on April 14, 2008.Thunder cracked abover her head and the first few rain drops hit her forhead and ran down her face. Looking up she smiled slightly, but hearing someone approach behind her it faded just as fast as it had come. He nudged her back with his knee "You can't keep crying over him" there was a short pause "you deserve better" she gritted her teeth at this. Bringing her knees to her chin she tried to ignore his presence. He sat next to her, she ignored him still. " You know it's true, he shouldn't abuse you like that" her temper flared "He NEVER abused me" she screamed at him, he seemed unphased "Those words.." he sighed "those words that were said they cut you deeper and hurt far worse than any thing in the world could have done to you" Tears began to roll silently down her cheeks "I deserve that pain, after the living hell I made him go through. What I did... is unforgivable." He opened his mouth to continue, she cut him off by shoving her opened hand in front of his mouth. She kept looking forward and he looked at her, the rain slowly started to fall down harder. "If he really loved you though, he'd forgive all of your mistakes." He told her in a whisper, turning her head slowly her cold grey blue eyes glaring at hhim "Some friend you are" She stood up glaring down at him "F**k you" she spat and started to walk in the direction of her mother's work. © 2008 Christina Ann Banana HamokAuthor's Note
