"Gee that gives a great out look on today." She said to her self grumpily; sitting up she swung her legs over the side of the bed and pushing the blankets to a pile. She looked at the empty space on the other side, "I miss you" she whispered. Then slid her self off to prepare for the up coming day. [[ Him ]] Rolling over he looked at the familiar face although it was not the one he wanted to see. Easy breaths made her chest rise and fall gently flickers of emotion crossed her face from dreams. With a sigh and pushing him self up off the bed, stumbled over ot the bathroom. Cold water dripped fom his jaw and chin. Two light bright blue eyes full of engergy and curiosity formed in the mirror. This was the face he wanted to see when he woke each morning. Shaking his head clear as he heard the bed springs creak from her waking. [[ Her ]] As the day wore on the rain fell harder. Looking out the window the drone of her teachers voice faded in to the distant backround. Tears streamed down her face unknowingly, they water stained her notes making the ink run. A friend watched this scene a worried expression plastered to her features. Suddenly a rectange peice of paper materlized in front of her Get a grip and get over him it told her. Then it came to mind that she was still in class, wiping the tears from her eyes and mouthed an apology to her friend. Though the concerned look did not leave her face. [[ Him ]] At work business was slow, he didn’t particulary like this considering it gave him time to think. Although this was not all bad but sometimes his mind would wander to thos bright blue eyes. Then she walked in calling out to her, rage flashed across her face; that’s when he realized that he had called the wrong name he had called her name. "Why?" she asked him "why can’t you just get her off your mind?" she whispered angrily as new customers walked in. Glaring, she told him she’d see him later, his heart weighed heavy. [[ Her ]] The books in her bag thumped against her thigh with each step she took. She listened to her friend yell and scorn at her for dwelling "I just do not understand that if he doesn’t have the time for you the love of his life then why should you give him your time?" she asked for the thousandth time arms flailing in the air. In away she knew that her friend was right but in the end she also knew that she was dead wrong, she had made up her mind a long time ago; she was never let him go... not with out a fight. [[ Him ]] The screen lit up for is computer; heasintly he clicked on the Instant Messanger, an as expected there was her screen name signed in. Ignoring the butterflies in his stomach he minimized it and continued on Internet Explorer. [[ Her ]] His sound rang through the speakers as he signed on, the little box in the corner telling her that it was true he had signed on. Unexpectantly all her feelings rose to the surfance flushing her face red; double clicking on his screen name and started typing. "Seems to me that your the one who is changing not me" signing off, she got up off the chair and upstairs letting sobs escape. [[ Him ]] And IM from her popped in the middle of his work on the screen, this was also expected. But what was not expected was the message that she had wrote, as he read her sentance tears welled up in his eyes; clicking out and blinking hard he also signed off for the night. © 2008 Christina Ann Banana HamokAuthor's Note
