Fireworks explode,

Louder than most sounds,

The colors so bright

And vibrant finding my focus.

The warmth of the air

Against my arms

As you wrap yours around me

Make me catch my breath.

The night too beautiful.

I feel out of place…

You pull me close,

I take a deep breath,

Your lips touch mine,

The warmth flows

Through my body,

To my heart,

As I feel yours beating

Against our chests

Pressed together,

The fireworks start

Exploding all over again.
