The already fragile heart

Bursts into tiny shards

Just like glass

Why would you say that?!

You said you loved me!

It makes no sense,

But the pain is already here

The hurt and betrayal

Already done.

Everything you lied about;

Everything I was truthful about.

Doesn’t matter.

I meant nothing to you.

If I did, the thought,

Let alone the words,

Would’ve never came

To your mouth or mind.
