Before my eyes,

You grow up.

I never imagined

Enjoying this level

Of happiness.

Hearing you babble,

Seeing you wobble,

Feeling your warmth,

Smelling your scent,

Tasting the youth within.

I love you so much;

I know Daddy does too.

We might not be around constantly

But we are always

in your heart,

no matter what distance

divides us,

love conquers all.
