The Most High

The Most High

A Poem by Snug Bug

Don't let the silence consume

Don't let me anguish

Fill your voice in this room

This wretchedness, you shall vanquish

One word is all I need

Whisper your divine love

I beg to take this heed

Oh, let it ring from above

Please don't retreat

At least send the beautiful dove

No more discreet

Don't refrain

I yell in despair

For the mighty Holy Ghost

Sadness will tear

For the awe-leaving Son

A handle to bear

For the Most High

Who rocks me by

A beautiful piece that makes you feel humble when you realize it is coming from your soul. A bit somber, a bit hopeful.
