the neverpath, pt. II

the neverpath, pt. II

A Poem by Snowfrost Moth

quiet, yearning tendrils of vine
climb the sacred stones put in place
by Jexhokvahaz of old.
they ask the I AM
for every harmonious flower to blossom
and for ever moister fertile roots.

i observe these things with my compound eyes,
then turn my ear to the reverberating song
of earthmountainsky.

i would fain remain
but the path does not let me linger.
