The End of The Rainbow

The End of The Rainbow

A Story by Brooklyn

Love.
Love was a blessing and curse.
Love can hurt and heal.
That's how Jenna felt. Every time she found someone special.
They weren't. They punched out her heart and stomped on it. It hurt, but she didn't let it show.
Because there was no one special.
Her parents ignored her. She had no siblings. Her friends didn't understand.
But then someone special came.
He made her feel special.
Like she was the special one not him.
He made her special.
He helped her come out of her shell.
He made her feel the way she should feel-herself.
Years Later.
They were married and a family of four.
This was how Jenna wanted it.
But.
There was a car-pileup.
He was at the very bottom.
Jenna couldn't even say good-bye.
Her two grown children comforted her.
It didn't work.
This was how Jenna felt.
Alone.
Unwanted.
She died.
No one knows the cause.
But on the day of her death.
They saw a couple sitting in the edge of a rainbow.
Happy and laughing.
This was how Jenna wanted it.
This is how Jenna will get it.

Amazing story. This is one of a kind that I haven't seen. Seems both like a poem and a story. True feelings of a women, the way she want her life, a dream that she aspires. You really have brought out in your piece of art.
