Innate beauty

Innate beauty

A Poem by Bransun Mitchell
"

To all those who think they aren’t beautiful in some sort of way.

"
are you the beauteous crystal cluster that hones my soul?
Are you the delicate frost flower that awakens my eyes?
Are you the clouds in the sky that wander across’t the glowing rays of the sun?
The ones whose beauty mimic the movements of dancing souls free from their bodies,
The stars that awe at the hearts of human beings?
Is a perfect flawless diamond really all that beautiful?
Or is it the ones whose flaws and uncut rawness that uncover something deeper about us?
The human spirit is undefinable and imperfect,
Rebellious and unrefined in its free-est nature,
The burning ache to live life more than just basic survival,
The uniqueness of a person and their sense of self,
The truth beyond the persona that they have led themselves to believe they are,
To be oneself is to be beautiful, don’t take it for granted...

Good morning Brandon,
I see I am the first to review your poem...
I did enjoy it although to be honest I found a few errors.
Your first word ...Perhaps you should capitalize the A?
Also, to start the first three lines repeating "Are you" and then several lines beginning with" The"...feels like too much repeating.
I think that your poem would be so much stronger if you reworked some of your poem.
I am not an editor but I always like to be honest with my reviews.
I really like the essence of your poem.
