Soulless Reflection

By: Adam M. Snow

Heart to leave upon my sleeve,

I wander tremendously.

The ink fade of a broken heart,

Upon my flesh, a tattoo bares not.

It be without saying as I be praying,

For a time not like this.

It seems that I may lost myself,

In time's frozen abyss;

Counting down till nature's calling,

As death takes me home.

I be without seeing as I be grieving,

For my soulless reflection.

Interesting and lovely words that entwine well to the title of ending s "soulless reflection" that seems to have so much depth. Well done.

A broken heart can leave us weak and alone. Hard to regain strength to battle life and go forward. No weakness in this short poem. A very good ending to a outstanding poem.

So much time and effort is displayed here in your thoughtful words. It is perhaps silly of me to say I admired it, but it has class.
