Only in the Dream

Only in the Dream

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

Deep in the forest where I lay, In my Night's-now-my-Day; The reaper's calling pass my ever dreams. I dream though I am awake, Dreaming for my siren sake.

"

Only in the Dream

By: Adam M. Snow

Deep in the forest where I lay,

In my Night's-now-my-Day;

The reaper's calling pass my ever dreams.

I dream though I am awake,

Dreaming for my siren sake.

But what of a dream:

A trifle-in our own esteem-

A journey in our visions pass,

A trial in its unobtrusive mass.

I lie here in my infinite wonder,

Lost in tranquility asunder.

Woe, woe unto me a new misgiving;

A dream now worth living.

Wonderful flow and very careful wording. It feels as if I should hold this piece with such tenderness as I would a new born child, as if it is teetering on the edge of delicacy. I am in love with this work. The pain is now something of beauty from your tears to your hands. Still in sleepless nights yet dreams abide.

I love the darkness of this almost song-like poem, the flow and energy were great and I like your use of words. Well done.

Sometime need to move the energy and hope of good dreams to real life. I like how you made your point in this poem. A strong ending to a excellent poem.

Excellent vocabulary of descriptions and all. It was an interesting poem for dreams are of best poetry to a great extent they can be told and you did a good job with it as I love the ending of "A dream now worth living."

Love this... really nice; at first it seemed like a dark lullaby a bit, which is nice, but then you get the picture more, i like these lines:
"I lie here in my infinite wonder,
Lost in tranquility asunder."
