Shallow EyesA Poem by Adam M. SnowLook beneath my shallow eyes, upon my soul for which you despise, your tainted hands upon my chest, broken dreams, it failed the test.Shallow Eyes
By: Adam M. Snow Look beneath my shallow eyes, upon my soul for which you despise, your tainted hands upon my chest, broken dreams, it failed the test. Hearts pounding, skipping a beat, tormented lies, sorrowful heat, worlds passing one by one, alone, wishing to be undone. I be a vision of a ghost, look right through me as you boast. Wasting days in solitude, alone, never meant to intrude. As I cry my tears in vain, you ignore my one true pain, I suppose I am to blame, yet you say, I've brought shame. © 2010 Adam M. Snow |
