Amour De Ardeur

Amour De Ardeur

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

Each day I gazed upon her; and each day she smiled and turned away. Each day I wait for my Ember; for I know not what she would say.

"
Amour De Ardeur
(love of passion)
By: Adam M. Snow

Each day I gazed upon her;
and each day she smiled and turned away.
Each day I wait for my Ember;
for I know not what she would say.
Oh, how my heart aches with love and passion;
wishing she would show me with compassion.
Kindly are my dreams about her;
for I am her soon to be lover.

Each day I rose to morning dawn;
knowing my love for Ember is never gone.
She sees through me like a ghost;
if only she could see all I could boast.
To her, my voice is silent;
my body's still;
her voice is pleasant;
her eyes even glistens a lil.

Today's the day; I'll tell her how I feel.
There she is, alone in a garden of flowers.
Each step I take, it feels more unreal;
for each step I take, my heart beats louder.
There's not a minute to waste;
nor should I haste.
I stand, gazing into her eyes so blue;
'Ember', I said, 'I love you.'
