From the Ashes

From the ashes we will rise,
from the pits of our demise
and victorious we will reign,
with freedom over pain.

Where darkness is,
light we will be.
Where death is,
life they will see.

Through faith we reign supreme
and by the Blood, we are redeemed.
And through the ashes comes anew;
a life, which Mercy breaks through.

A new found fire burning bright,
with power of an uttered tongue.
With new strength to stand and fight,
as our lifesong is sung.

Out of the ashes, diamonds are made.
We will rise unafraid.
Towering righteousness,
merciful, mindfulness.

Ready for battle
as storm rages.
Setting the example
for all the ages.

Ev'ry moment, His light is shown;
through us, His mercy's known.
And in the end we overcome,
for this, our battle's won.

I think the only thing that is missing in this is a background of a sunset. There is a warmth in this not exactly fire but close to it.
