Hands Stained Ink
A Poem by
Adam M. Snow
Hands stained ink of black and red. On the brink of what was said,
Hands Stained Ink
Written by Adam M. Snow
Hands stained ink
of black and red.
On the brink
of what was said,
"To entwine our fate
before all is dead,
that which drives elate,
be without dread."
But oh weary hearted,
that from which the fingertips bled.
Lest not your words departed,
that your canvas be fed.

Well said. Lets not stop till we say all that we need to say, I just hope that we are understood.

Oh for those days when our fingertips were ink stained and not blistered from pounding a keyboard. Writers know our veins run thick with ink & our brains are filled with useless information that, every now and then, flows onto a page and makes something other than gibberish.
A good write, Adam

Great imagery created with this, and now I'm not referring to the image!
To feed a canvas with bleeding fingertips.....now that image makes me want to run to my imaginary easel....:)

The words alive and so damn good. I had to read again.
"To entwine our fate
before all is dead,
that which drives elate,
be without dread."
The above lines could stand alone. Thank you Adam for sharing the amazing poetry.

This is nicely written. I could not help think of Bram Stoker Dracula crossed with Dorian Gray. A lover's pact for all eternity! I really liked it!
