This story is so amazing. It explains so much and you can see it out. Your writing is so well and unique. I hope to see more pieces like this. You should keep up the good work!
Absolutely wonderful! I love the traditional writing of the old masters and this is right there with them. The poem itself I can relate to and contemplate these thoughts and emotions all too often. It happens all too often that road we don't want to travel but we can always come back around. I really am impressed with this write.
A nice nod to former poet laureate Frost. Frost was a complex poet who wrote very simple poetry. The beauty of his work is in its mastery of simplicity. I like this in that it points out that feeling sorry for oneself is not likely to inspire sympathy or even empathy in others; while struggling to overcome obstacles and adversity often inspires both whether solicited or not. It's a point to be considered but often overlooked by those on the wrong or even well traveled path.
You are right my friend.
"But woe was I, deceived
to linger in my demise,
that my fate is bereaved
and so shall I rise."
If we fall, we must rise wiser and stronger. Thank you Adam for sharing the amazing poetry. Merry Christmas and have a fun and safe New year.

Even mistakes instruct, and sometimes guide us down a different path. Regardless our path or arrival point, we can always change course, retreat, or cut a new trail. Nicely done.
