I know when you're misery started. Ev'ry day you feel it grow, on the brink, such great low. Still I wait, patiently, till you answer the door for Me. Don't you fret now My child, let not your heart beguiled. I have come to give you rest, if you allow Me to be your guest. In your doorway I stand before, knocking, knocking at your door. I'll wait here, patiently waiting, lest not your sorrow abating. Your door is locked, yet still I knock knock, knocking at your door; still My child, you ignore. I won't leave you, nor forsake you, during your raging war; here am I at your door. Are you willing, truly willing, lest not My love fulfilling? Open your door so I may come in and I'll wash clean your ev'ry sin. Knock, knocking. My love is true, I am waiting in the doorway for you. © 2017 Adam M. SnowReviews
