As Her Love goes off to War
A Poem by
Adam M. Snow
She leaves with the wind, a kiss in morning air; a tragic tale to send her away with despair.
As Her Love goes off to War Written by Adam M. Snow She leaves with the wind, a kiss in morning air; a tragic tale to send her away with despair. She leaves her heart to be shattered even more, by a boy torn apart and the closing of her door. She had loved but with a cost of many tears she bore, out of fear of loss,
as her love goes off to war.

A very sad poem and a realistic one.

War steal young men and women. Leaving people waiting and hoping for a good reunion. Thank you my friend for sharing the excellent poetry.

Would "fear of loss" be more appropriate? A timeless piece as people go off to fight wars, leaving loved ones behind.
