Year of Jubilee

Year of Jubilee

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

My child, My child; lend Me your ear, heed My word, put aside your fear, your pride, your sword, your envious jeer - hear My voice and revere.

"

Year of Jubilee
Written by Adam M. Snow

My child, My child; lend Me your ear,
heed My word, put aside your fear,
your pride, your sword, your envious jeer
  - hear My voice and revere.

See the world through grain of sand,
this world of yours is My Father's land.
Heed My word and make a stand
  - rain of revival is at hand.

Your home will burn with Holy fire;
your kin will see My Father's desire.
Hundreds of voices will be lifted higher;
many will speak with tongues of fire.

The blind will gain a whole new sight,
they shall see God's Holy might.
Holy Spirit will in them shine bright,
their tongues shall too with fire ignite.

The lame will dance and dance so free,
to a Heavenly chorus of praises towards Me.
They will dance and dance so endlessly
  - rejoicing, rejoicing with tears of glee.

The mute will speak with unheard voice
and sing aloud as they rejoice.
Praises will flow from their new found voice,
set ablaze as they rejoice.

The deaf will hear the angel choir,
their hearts will be set afire.
They will hear My voice, My desire
and go forth to inspire.

My child, My child; lend Me your ear,
heed My word, put aside your fear,
your pride, your sword, your envious jeer
  - hear My voice and revere.

There's more to come in the coming year,
but time is fading as I draw near.
Listen My child, so that our hearts cohere
  - a great revival is drawing near.

The raging wars, the pointless bloodshed
all will cease, the lost will be led
to the altar with tears they'll shed,
 - their hearts, free of dread.

The earth shall see His Majesty;
all captives will be set free.
All creation will fall to their knees,
this the year of Jubilee.

My child, My child; lend Me your ear,
heed My word, put aside your fear,
your pride, your sword, your envious jeer
 - hear My voice and revere
 - hear My voice, let our hearts cohere
  - a great revival is drawing near.

Author's Note

Adam M. Snow
In my opinion, real Christians are the ones who are being ridiculed, mocked, threatened and even killed for their beliefs, because they're the ones who refuses to remain silent. Even through the fear of death, they find the strength to call out to God and not deny His name. I, myself refuse to remain silent and because of that, I've been ridiculed, I've been mocked and I've been threatened because of my faith, my beliefs and if death were to come my way, I too will have the strength to call out to God and let death take me. I will never in any situation, deny Christ my Savior. To all you Christians, Saints, Brethren and Sisters who are afraid, silent, afraid of the world and prideful; how much do you love God? When Jesus laid down His life, He did it for you. Do you have what it takes to lay down your life, to take on the world for His namesake? Do you have the courage to fight, to speak up, to be the servant God wants you to be? Time is changing; yes we are being persecuted and the time is now more than ever to speak up. Speak up, you Christians, you Saints of God make a stand, be courageous and never let your voice be silent. There's a great Revival coming, I can feel it in my heart and my soul. God's not done with America. God's not done with Israel. God's not done with Canada. God's not done with Mexico, China, Japan, the U.K. God's not done with the world. There's a great Revival coming and our voice, His voice will be heard. Christ came down to lead by example and we should follow, not hide and remain silent. His Word is love, not hate and His Word should not be left silent. Do unto those what you would want done unto you. Help those who need lifting. Feed those who are hungry. Clothes those who are naked. Christ is returning soon and there are those who still needs help, your help, His help. Let Christ work through you. Don't be afraid, be courageous. Don't be silent, speak up. Don't just sit through this, make a stand. Don't give in to what the world thinks of you, give in to what God commands of you. Be courageous and be the Saint He made you to be. The great Revival is coming and again I say, 'Let our voice, His voice be heard.'

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 5:11-12 NKJV

amen and amen. This one was straight up Bible based praise poetry - honest and without apology. So many Christians are timid - especially the writer types. As for me, I am often unread so I don't worry as much any more - but much respect to you for speaking your faith loud and clear.

A power write but being sceptical as I am seeing the cruelty of man at present and over the centuries past but appreciating people's beliefs if there was a God of Christianity or Allah for that matter I'm sure they would intervene by now. Its the followers of God that have carried misjustice burning so called witches at the stake when only they were only different but innocent ,or killing black cats as being evil. These mistruths disappoint me today. A real God would not let this happen. A thoughtful write. religion interpreted by man is the greatest misjustice to a god that really speaks or intervenes.

Emotional, raw, and refreshing when dealing with a world that is hypocritical of others faiths.

I see a lot of myself in this piece. It feels more satanic than christian. Very good.

This is so strong and stirring. I find a lot of ridicule in my poetic circles for my faith. My spiritual writes have led me to be called hypocritical because i write erotica. But they do not see that i believe first in love and committed faith in each other before intercourse.

But above all i believe in love and faith in my God and Christ. I have very broad and an open minded look on scripture..read all not only what was chosen by Constantines and King James men to be included in the cannon.though i hold that bible dear.

Anyway. I dont consider it a bad thing im being pushed out of circles for speaking openly about it..and not doing writes romancing Lucifer and demons.

Great beautiful..well written and powerfully moving.

Love and wishes for your continued spirit in faith.

Powerful and strong words my friend.
"My child, My child; lend Me your ear,
heed My word, put aside your fear,
your pride, your sword, your envious jeer
- hear My voice and revere
- hear My voice, let our hearts cohere
- a great revival is drawing near."
I like the energy and the drive of the outstanding poetry.

^^ Yes, I do believe a revival is drawing near as people long and search to draw closer to God. I really liked the line, "My child, my child; lend Me your ear, heed My word, put aside your fear, your pride, your sword, your envious jeer, hear my voice and revere." ^^ it has a nice rhythm and rhyme to it. I also like the message it has within, we cannot hold on to our pride and we cannot rely on swords because our fight is not with flesh but spiritually. We also have to be careful when we speak to others and always follow God with all of our hearts! Great job!

This poem kind of reminds me of a song that goes something like "It's beginning to rain, hear the voice of My Father, whosoever will come, come drink of My water. He promises to pour His spirit out, on your sons and your daughters. If you are thirsty and dry, look up to the sky, it's beginning to rain." ^^ It is such a lovely song.
