Be still Beating Heart

 By: Adam M. Snow

Be still my beating heart,
your pounding intrudes me.
It fills me with pains;
I ache with sorrow of thee.
You tell me to love,
but why do you break thee?
If it's not meant to be, then why?
Why don't you let me see?

The photos do give life and purpose to the poem. Direct and honest words in the poem. I believe in karma. I paid the price for being young and foolish. The questions at the end can be answered in due time. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

I love your writing style my friend. A short but emotional piece, one which others can easily relate to. Well penned :)
