Be still my beating heart, your pounding intrudes me. It fills me with pains; I ache with sorrow of thee.
Be still Beating Heart
By: Adam M. Snow
Be still my beating heart, your pounding intrudes me. It fills me with pains; I ache with sorrow of thee. You tell me to love, but why do you break thee? If it's not meant to be, then why? Why don't you let me see?
The photos do give life and purpose to the poem. Direct and honest words in the poem. I believe in karma. I paid the price for being young and foolish. The questions at the end can be answered in due time. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

This is more contemporary write from you and I like it.
If only we could all see into our own hearts, maybe life can then be interpreted through our true motivations and desires.
P.S. I love the picture of a red, bloody, sticky heart.

I always wanted to ask suc a question to my heart...but never could figure out this question....Over the time, like every other question, this one also left my mind......Thanks for helping me recall my thoughts once again....
You boldly asked what has been questioned by so many... Why do we love?
Short as it is; it is deeply moving and so many can relate, be it the old or the young; we have asked that so many times but only a few can boldly voice that ancient question...
A wonderful poem.
An interesting concept. There is a little bit of classic here mixed with a little bit of modern, which I like. The questions are apt...why does the heart fall as it does? We have little control over who we love, and it would be nice if roadblocks popped up before we fall for an ill-fated romance. I liked this one.

I keep my work clean, I write to inspire others. Some people would even call me a philosopher, but w.. more..
