The infanticide of man, who are we to decide the lives of infants whom not born yet to see the greed of man? Who are we to challenge life, yet to lose life itself?
The Tyranny of Man By: Adam M. Snow
The infanticide of man, who are we to decide the lives of infants whom not born yet to see the greed of man? Who are we to challenge life, yet to lose life itself? Such irony is God we seek, is the God we banished; yet we wonder why He has forsaken us: Not He, but we have forsaken Him. We tarnished the name for which man once stood, all for power of a corrupted mind and for money, the greatest sin of the Earth. We threw away the sanctity of marriage, the truth it once held; casting out God's plan for that of man. Love has no meaning, no truth but lies it is corrupted by that of man. So sad the greed this world now has, the rich of man to rob the poor. To love without a cost just for greed, to find laughter in today's bloodshed, oh how we are so blind to see, we are the end of man; the infanticide of the innocence of man, a victim of our own misdeeds.
"To love without a cost just for greed,
to find laughter in today's bloodshed,
oh how we are so blind to see,
we are the end of man; "
The above lines are true. Wasted and mistreatment of love and human life will be the downfall of the human race. I enjoyed the complete poem. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

I really enjoyed this write because it made me consider God as love intent, we were born in the wrong age my friend. There is so much "taste testing" before marriage nowadays, I remember watching the old movies like "Thornbirds" or the "King and I" or "Wuthering heights" where people actually fell in love and courted each other and married before ever having intercourse, I'm not saying it's a better way, I'm just acknowleging that men and women are becoming desensitized to the magic, because it's no big deal now to see a woman half clad, we see it all day long in advertising, sex sells.
A very good write and powerful message Adam. Good presentation. Thought provoking. Good imagery, flow and tone. Line to line transition and breaks are well done. Very nice rhythm. Deep expression of emotion. You express the problems in the post modern world with power, anger and sadness; but there is still hope. Even in this darkness there is light. There is a God in heaven who is still in control, and there are still many of us who believe in the sanctity of life. I have hope in the Lord and in His love and these words always come to mind: If my people, who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14). It's in this that my hope relies. Not all of us are blind, and we are far from innocent and one day we will have to pay for our misdeeds. Good closing lines. Well penned and a good read. Write on!
Also the Tyranny of Nature: Nature flings a billion seeds upon the Winds of Chance in the hope that one shall fall upon fertile ground on which to sprout. Perhaps man in his madness must destroy the only one that sprouts. Of a billion planets, one becomes a big blue Earth, a paradise that's doomed to be destroyed by her wayward children.
