I see a Flower

I see a Flower

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

I see a flower, weltering in this midst summer's heat; a tragedy of beauty lost. It goes untold the innocent that once lied, a beauty trampled by man.

I see a Flower
By: Adam M. Snow

I see a flower, weltering in this midst summer's heat;
a tragedy of beauty lost.
It goes untold the innocent that once lied,
a beauty trampled by man.
For whatever it was, a rose or a sunflower bud,
it was short lived, a tragedy.
Should that flower be left to welt away?
Perhaps, or perhaps one day it will bloom anew;
a new beginning with colors like the heavens.

Amazing description brought to life the death of the flower. The flower is tender and beautiful. Can cause hope and happiness by her blooming. I did like the hopeful ending. We do need flowers. Make us know rebirth and the beauty of nature. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

I really love this. The picture captures the words just as the poem captures the picture. The life of a flower. Wonderful write. The beauty of nature well captured in this poem.

Potency is a reality...You made a wonderful imagery of potency with that weltering flower....A very good write that inflicted a lot of thoughts....though it could bring a lot of creative ideas.....Thanks for sharing this post

Beautiful. Nothing can truly be dead I mean you can cut a tree at its roots because it's leaves and branches are dying but, when you do the life it once held will come back allowing a new tree and sunflower to live in its place. Anyways nicely done with the rhythmatic flow of this lovelyl poem used with imagery and other literary devices revealing the flow you see.

I really enjoyed the last line of your poem,Adam. The one thing that I really enjoyed about this piece would be your emphasis on the small things in life, and how we need to show our gratitude. Great job.

I love the meaning and how simple this is.
You don't need to be an L.A teacher to understand the very important meaning behind this poem.
There was nothing I found wrong with this so well done.
