Milady of the Sea By: Adam M. Snow
Beauty engulfs her extravagant being, Cursing me silent; without thought, without seeing. Being as it may be, a bewitching beauty, Leaving me speechless and lost in dreams. Her sweet melody calling, drowning me- Depths of despair; my home, my sea. Echoing of tunes, O' sweet melody; Beauty half that of piscine. The moon itself glistens for her, It dances around her angelic sound. Entrap me, O' milady of the sea- Take I with thee sweet melody. The great blue we go forth, endeavor and so forth; Lost to the sweet sound sung forever. The cascading ray ignites her beauty, Reflections go forth from the sea. I met her eyes for moment still, Her melody fallen my heart to ill. How it's so I, lost in thoughts thought of her- Milady or not, forevermore dream of her?
Quite beautiful and classical, a different take on the "my love is as deep as the deep blue sea"-type lines.
With as lines as sparkling as "her extravagant being", however, I find "The great blue we go forth, endeavor and so forth" a bit of a mood killer, however. "Go forth," yes! "And so forth," though, I think is a little perfunctory for the extraordinary vision you've created.
Oh, BTW, great play on "milady" and "malady". Never saw that one coming.

Funny thing about 'malady' it was supposed to be 'milady' yet I didn't realize that typo.... I wrote this poem on my phone and according to my phone's auto correct, 'milady' isn't a word thus it constantly changes it to 'malady' lol
I believe in her magic. I need to read you more often: you are amazing in whatever subject you choose. Ah, I miss the days that I wrote of love. Perhaps, one day another will inspire me so.

Coral royals always are elusive and in their pursuit have wanderingly lost to generations of surface-dwellers many a great surface blue-bloods.
Seasickness is of no great consequence to the one who lives in the arms of the Sun and remembers he is found by circumstances only to be lost again in the sea of humanity.
