A Midnight Summer's Rain By: Adam M. Snow
Rain pounding 'gainst my window; the sound of thunder, wind blow. Flashes of lightning, silhouettes of shadows; a nature’s melody for me to dance to.
My face drips wet by mid-summer's rain; I spin with the wind, emotionally sane. Roaring thunder race a crackling smash, still I dance on; no care, no care. Throughout the night, the storm rages still, and I left to watch this mid-summer's thrill.
The rhyme scheme is interesting. It doesn't seem to have a real pattern yet it does. It's a thrilling description of the possibilities that rain can offer! Rain is not a mere inconvenience, instead it is the emotion of the sky. I love this!
Really lovely work there's nothing at all i can find wrong in the least. Its just a very nice and descriptive work. The only thing is that I think the picture overwhelms the poem so just work on your artistic porportions :-)
