Armed with a tongue, I dare not speak; my voice alone is why I'm weak. I ripped it out to hurt no more, silent now forevermore.

Almost Poe-like with the rhymes and elusive writing. I loved it!

Poignant, the fear of hurting others with your words.

Haunting piece. The simplicity of it really adds a layer of mystery to the reader because we have to think what this person has done and or seen to feel this way. Brilliant! 100:)
God bless

A lifetime's worth of possibilities in these four lines...less is certainly more in the case of this poem.

Our words can injure beyond belief. Short and powerful.

I can relate to it because I always have wrong choice of words sometimes that it hurts other people... That's why sometimes I stay silent so not to hurt anyone...My greatest fear is to be hated just like everyone else...
Good poem as ever (:
