Lost Sentiment

Lost Sentiment

A Poem by Snow412
"

2008--Written when the world, as I knew it was collapsing.

"
The clock rewinds,
We blink as it turns back time.
He looks at me with always searching eyes,
Wondering if I will stay or leave….
And all I want is to be with him--
That is all my eyes reflect.

He pulls away his hands,

Then his heart,

And all the light in life has left me once more….
Turn back the hands of time to a happier day--
When we said forever and always.

Take my hand and I will take yours--
For better or for worse.
Take me to a time when love was all that mattered…
I would rather be anywhere than this place.

That was worded very well. So many pieces of angst fall short of their intended message. This one did not. Kudos.

The rocky road of relationships can often be a hazardous one. It is a test that always seems to pop up like some unexpected quiz. Those with a strong foundation are always best off even if cracks appear which in time is inevitable.
