When Worlds Die

When Worlds Die

A Poem by Snow412
"

When worlds are forgotten, this is what happens...ours is next.

"
The broken ground gathers seed"
echoes that are taken by the wind to their destined fall.
Angelic wings are borne
Upon the portal’s gust between each fall"
Opening the melody’s heart
to destruction,
and it is then that the
Night is upon us all.

I really really enjoyed this piece of writing. Immensely. And you are completely right. Ours is next. And it's a sad thing when you know it will before it even has happened. Good write!

Empires fall all the time. Broken Ground is like the error of ways of each society. When it gathers seed--it gathers people and belief and the error starts to become overwhelming...

The echoes are carried, rather than taken if that is sketchy wording to you, to their silence (i.e."Destined fall").

The forces of good, light, and melody (Angelic wings) are seen between each empire's fall, but each fall tends to hurt and corrupt such purity and hope.

When we lose hope, we are all lost.

Hope this helps.
