Blight and Redemption

Blight and Redemption

A Poem by Snow412
"

An appeasement to all the negativity lately...felt good to write. Pay attention to the details, as usual.

"
Hollow and staggering though the
Fragmentation of time’s smile,
Dilemma falls on me"
It echoes fate’s perseverance through temperance.
I am alone again.
Resurrecting a new age,
Forsaken values are held high
Above the rest,
Only to be perturbed by the night’s sky
And awkward silence.
Seeing your smile,
The past longs to destroy what is held dear"
Love.
I follow the sound of your beating heart
And find you amidst blossoming certainty"
You are my heart’s song.
I am afraid that you may not feel
As intensely as I do, naturally,
But I know my hands cannot hold the water that
Pours from an evening’s mind.
Do you see me?
You are my alpha particle,
My antimatter,
And my dream that has solidified before me.
You are my alternate reality"
My blood’s flow.
You find me in the darkest days
Only to ignite hope in this awkward night
Like auroras in the north…
I know that we are made for one another.
If I were to lose you,
No other would come for me…
They would be cast aside as counterfeit,
Because you are my heart’s melody
And reason for tempo.
Selah.
