MIGRATORY BIRDS !

MIGRATORY BIRDS !

A Poem by Sneh

With honour,
draped in white particularly
emerged from heavenly womb
her first abode!
crossing paths ,bewitching glory
added wings in her story!
some earned respect, some faced rape,
some occupied education, while some engaged in kitchen.
this tale still exists on the walls,
where they screwed their names!
emergency !!
nothing , she just turned 25 plus
draped in red for third season of life,
the place she is about to fly!
call it home or deal she couldn't deny!
amazingly flown her entire season
as fragility appeared,
lead her to drape white again
this time , it's the only weather
she asked her entire life!

Sneh, your lines here had me thinking of the plight of women in our world. Still, they are treated as second class citizens, still they are abused and murdered and still they remain uneducated. Far worse in some parts of the planet than others. Any wonder they would try to escape by any means. I'm not sure of your specific meaning here but migratory birds reminded me of the evil of trafficking.

All good wishes.

An important topic to be learned. Yes child trafficking or whoring for a living or being abuse sexually should not be tolerated... yet is in in many countries today. your metaphors are right to he point. women, in many countries, are still abused, not only sexually, but are fores to do much manual labor. A very relevant write.
Thanks for sharing.

this should never be...I would love to see the roles reversed....see how they would like it...
not so much, I would imagine.
