WE ARE STRAINED AGAIN!

Everything shifted back to normal

we started flying in open 

rushed to the life beyond pharmacy

laid again the foundation inevitably

no matter if its chinese or african

we are locked in the same cage!

karma definitely a b***h

letting animals tease us back!

five year plan scheme of individuals

or a dust bin are just synonyms

fresh air of new normal,

need to adapt with minimised oxygen!

demises rising

barely due to this monster

its starvation , killing their dear ones!

there are rumours of pandemics every 100 years

i wish i could have born exactly after previous one!

nerves shake, when a soul is on the verge ,

to leave his master's body

we destroyed the lungs of mother earth

this monster is on its revenge note

attacking ours!

this too shall pass, timeline none knows

again lets stand on the border of our soul

lets again be a warrior,'

lets join hands with family,

lets reconnect and know ourselves a little more

we'll be more happier than ever!

We have to hope that the advance of science will help to keep these monsters in check. Sadly we need to supply more vaccine and faster before new variants are created. Very sad and worrying times. The denser the population, the more difficult it is to keep under control. Powerful piece of writing Sneh. Keep safe.

I have been reading of the horrors that are taking place in India now and have contributed to aid organizations. I hear our President Biden is sending relief supplies. What more can be done I do not know, but I like the courageous spirit expressed in the last stanza.

We are strained, true, but to a lesser extent than a few months ago. This monster is still around killing people, but must still continue to fight it, in ways that we can.I like the way you structured this poem, revenge against what mother earth has created. Who knows what the NEW normal will be??? But it's going to be better. I hope !!!

According to my boyfriend there is a plague every generation..every one hundred years.
