That means take out stuff like: the, and, etc. Say it in as few words as possible. Pretty soon, it became a nonsensical list of words. Still, less is better, as long as it gets the meaning across. I do love playing with words. Like lego, we are only bound by imagination and attention to detail. You Sneh are well on your way to greatness. It is only natural the some will be jealous and give us a hard time. When we trip over our own feet, people will laugh. These are lessons we remember and they make us humble. Our muse refuses to be second.

Indeed less is good. Plethora of lessons we all have learnt and still the process is on...

Good day/night! 🌸
Back in my younger days, being bipolar was more pronounced for me & this is what it felt like. My mind would be flailing thru the ups & downs coming at me, hour by hour. It can actually hurt to have a mood so intensely attacking oneself. This poem has many exclamation points! Usually I'm not into over-use of the exclamation point, but in this case, it works. It does feel like everything you try to focus on is coming at you with an exclamation point. This poem feels scattered & bumpy, which resembles the very feelings you convey. Yet, I love how the ending shows us we can still strike a pose of victory, after the bumpy ride, there's always a new moon! I have always loved that symbol, the new moon, as a "starting over" . . . sometimes we need to start over & over & over -- just like the moon! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
I love the last line - I am a moon watcher, in all the crescent and full forms.
I like the self expression here - I would live to see you change the first lines each stanza into a metaphor instead of spelling it out for the reader - I feel if you do that you will add a whole new dimension to this already wonderful piece. How can you say 'hollow pit of depression' without actually saying it?
Great stuff X
