It's not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live!!
As we are born, we must die
the ultimate end, without hue and cry.
Why so panic?
Let the soul fly high!
Still faint of heart is there,
ask true lover, anywhere?
Oh, Romeo with poison &
Juliette stabbed her to death,
Not so easy, can the fear be catched?
Hurting the lives, making the list
With evil thoughts, called as terrorist.
Though running beats, prepared to be hanged!
As the place is full, still to fill
Living in the dark without any meal,
Defending the death every minute,
Uttering the word 'don't hit'.
Thank god! No more black hole s**t!
No rejoice in demise,
Sending bomber back, risking own lives,
What, sitting in home about their wives?
I salute, I salute the bravest army from depth.
Actually am never scared of death but am scared of the pain while my soul will be discarded from my body and have no wonder if twill reach the heaven or will rot somewhere!! And yess, you put that exact...the actual fear is that we ain't gonna grab any second chance after tasting the death once....terrific write...great read, thanks for sharing :)

Yes, hope keeps us moving. Thanks for stopping by and giving your opinion here :)
As an old person (63) who has heard/read many ideas about death among those of us near the end of life, I must say your poem is NOTHING like ANYTHING I've ever pondered about life & death. To me, this just goes to show how we in America often do not imagine how life is much tougher in other places, that people long for death for reasons quite unlike those of us going thru a bout of depression in an otherwise safe (fairly safe) culture/environment. You paint the life/death choice as being one with much higher stakes & I love your take on this topic (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
'AFRAID OF DEATH'
Sneh,
Humanity from the beginning has been reeling from death's imprint and it's twin, sin. I think that we are designed to look, to search for clues, for hope. Death and then rebirth is seen all around. Old age to the new birth of infants- death in plants, creatures, and all natural processes but still life keeps cycling and processing. These things are all part of this earth and it's precious human being's design. God is the creator and He alone in His Son, the Messiah makes all things new. Jesus is 'The way the truth and the life.'
Bless you as you consider and question things of importance such as this

Death will come to us all, no one escapes it. I fear it from the point of view I want to have really lived before it comes and done everything I planned to do. I want to be ready for it. That is so selfish really when I think of all those whose lives are cut short. Those whose star doesn't get a chance to shine. Thought provoking lines Sneh.

As John Donne puts in his poem, "DEATH THOU SHALT DIE".
Loved reading this poem, you touched different arenas to portray fear, life and death --very commendable job.
"Why so panic?
Let the soul fly high!"-- Indeed, when we follow this only then we will "begin to live!"
great work, Sneh.
Very deep and very interesting... The concept of death does indeed frighten me, even though it is as natural as living. I am a believer in the afterlife, however I often ask myself if I truly believe, or if it's simply a coping mechanism for my own mortality... Death is a path we all must take, but I do not relish the thought.

You do excellent work, It was a pleasure to read it.
Death is a certainty, something we can't run away of. Unlike our brave soldiers or the terrorists we common people find it difficult to believe and face it when the time comes. Maybe because of the emotional attachment we have with our people or things. As you said real death is not when we die rather the time we stop believing we are alive and have great things to accomplish. You have wrote it well to question us our own perspectives and I greatly enjoyed it . Thanks for sharing :)
