It's in a style called pantoum. pantoums are really alot of fun, and it amazes me how well they flow together in the end.

Strength For the Winter

By Tyler pryor

Watch the storms burst in.

The man sets down for the siege.

Winter comes with hateful silence.

And you must push on.

The man sets down for the siege.

So few shall last.

And you must push on,

Alone or in grand company.

So few shall last,

Despite their efforts.

Alone or in grand company,

The darkness does not care.

Despite their efforts

Their hope shall out last.

The darkness does not care.

Their hope is not reality.

Their hope shall out last.

So many times it has.

Their hope is not reality,

But enough to see it form.

Ominous grey and icy knives.

Watch the storms burst in.

Are you prepared, for hear it now.

Winter comes with hateful silence.

Awesome imagery here! Atmospheric and chilling. You have set the nerves alive, which is good lol xx

I liked this. You set a beautiful scene, and used the poetic form very well. The way you used the darkness as contrast to their "hope" is very effective. Nicely done.
