As You Can See, There Is No Meaning

As You Can See, There Is No Meaning

A Poem by Akira Kodama

Laid deep within the cracks of reality
Is a glow
A source of due importance shows itself
Hidden, pushed aside
Seen as one, seen as none
Seen as done, seen by some.

First you need to be willing to look and sometimes that means looking down at those cracks in reality. We've been trained to look up for happiness, salvation whatever but I believe what I think your poem is saying look down for that glow that lies beneath the crack. We write so much of flying but what of digging? Your short poem gave me a perspective to ponder. I think there is some sort of meaning in just about everything.

Just lately my thoughts have been turning to this same subject. A darkly brilliant write.

Short, but leaves a dark message. Good job.
