Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise

A Poem by Akira Kodama

You are loved by some, hated by others
So misunderstood
Alienated.
"Only in moderation," they say
"Just dump the whole jar on." says I.
All discarded mayonnaise will be avenged
I assure you.
No condiment deserves condemnation.

Mayonnaise of all jars, unite!

Oh Newspaper Boy! This sings to my heart. Miracle Whip comes straight from the devil and no brand will do except Hellman's! I once put off a whole dinner until my husband ran to the store for a jar. I was beside myself when I found that I had let myself run that low. Mayo is the queen of condiments and I love this poem! Angi~

Condimentist.
LOL I like a little mayo but you are obsessed with it! Hey to each his own! This was funny and yet had passion for a condiment. I like the line "no condiment deserves condemnation" Creative and funny. Thanks for sharing.
