Happy Poem

Happy Poem

A Poem by Akira Kodama

..They came through the door at 1 A.M.
Men, in bright yellow vests
I stared at them with my lifeless eyes
Without a single breath

...My veins are black, body's cold
Not much different than when I was 'alive'
I'm not sorry it had to end this way
It was finally time.

I sit here in my room
A quick stab of the needle, then I'll be done
-To all who care, or it may concern-
Goodbye to...no one...

Is this supposed to be a scene before a death penalty? Correct me if I'm wrong
