Death!

Death!

A Poem by Gema
"

This is a poem based on my feelings after a film i watched! (Atonment) I advise people to see it!

"

I sit here and wonder if I’ll hear your next breath.

Never knowing my fate my future my death.

To see you once more, you’re embracing kiss.

For you to be next to me is my only true wish.

People are dying wounded and weak.

The outlook I can say is positively bleak.

For try as we may the bombs still blaze.

Not caring of their horrible unsightly ways.

To touch you my darling so close but so far.

You know that I’ll love you no matter how far.

But to be here against all my will.

Only asking one thing is which I to kill.

The thoughts in my head the sites I have seen.

No one can imagine or guess where I’ve been.

Children are dead left lying and still.

Faces so cold white pale and ill.

The bodies so bruised battered and torn.

Scattered and scattered helpless and worn.

But life I live know was worth the pain.

Because families will once again live happy again.
