Fred and GingerA Poem by BeccaJust a little fun
Fred and Ginger came calling one day Decided they preferred to stay We heard the story of how they met Amazed to see they never sweat They truly clicked and seemed to jive Showing thanks just to be alive How they glided, how they soared So entertaining we never grew bored Dances performed so effortlessly Because they practiced ceaselessly Tango, Cha-Cha, Jitterbug That's a smile on Fred's mug! We mourn the day they sadly died Such stark reality in the life of a fly I'll always remember Fred and Ginger The day they landed on my finger © 2008 BeccaReviews
