Fertility's Fiery Firmament

Fertility's Fiery Firmament

A Poem by Becca
"

The scene is looking east from my back yard. Imagine seeing this as you stumble to the kitchen with eyes barely open! It was a dawn like I had never seen before.

"

Imagine...Flaming Fluid Fragrance

    Anticipate...Foretasting First-Fruits Fusion

         Experience...Fidelity's Flawless Fandango

An amazing write! I'm not familiar with alliteration poetry, but I'm going to investigate now that you've peaked my interest! For me, this spoke of two scenarios:

Flaming Fluid Fragrance: Imagine the fragrance of burning brush wafting through the air (OR) The fragrance of heated passion's bittersweet tanics.

Foretasting First-Fruits Fusion: Anticipate first fruits as the roots below spring forth a promise to multiply upon the earth once again. A fusion of destruction & regeneration (OR) Anticipating first fruits of this fusion of two as they make love for the first time.

Fidelity's Flawless Fandango: Experience this natural phenomenon of purging flames as they faithfully dance across the earth a two step of life & death (a paradox) year-after-year.

I'm probably way out in left field, considering the fact that I have no idea what alliteration poetry is! BUT, this is what my mind's eye saw...

I LOVE it! and I'm going to investigate & have a go at it!

EXCELLENT IMAGERY!

Witty and magnificently crafted. I love the edge of it. Great job!

This I think is a beautiful summation of your writing style! The flaming imagination, the passionate flavor of your words and the feel of your pen as it dances accross the page. Yah, I like this. You might want to put this in your bio. :-)

it's short... but also very dense... there is alot of content in those three lines that is formed from the very gravity of the words you chose. I don't know, for some reason, now that I read this, I think I want a margarita... lol... great job!

How uniquely inspiring! Is this a form of poetry or is it just a poem that sprang from creativity? Whatever it's wonderful and I love the way it grabs the reader and gives them an almost double take. Wonderful writing and great imagery with the minds eye!

Hi Bec, I love that photo. Love the poem too. "Fidelity's Flawless Fandango" what a great line. I'll hang on to it... It helps.

True, lots of alliteration, but what does it mean? Not sure I understand it. Or is it suppose to be?
