I only wish to find you,

In this vast eternity.

To narrow the distances

Between you and me.

To see past all that

You have become

To see the real you

Behind this mask

You've put on.

I still wonder

What truely happened to us?

If we were blindly in love,

Or lost in lust....

How ever it happened,

I still wished it hadn't....

I think of you again,

And long for you once more,

I thought 'we' were right,

But fate wasn't sure...

Everything happens

For a purpose. A reason,

And as for the heartache-

It's still easing.

Maybe one day love

Will find us on the same road,

But life is a mystery,

And someday we'll know.

A great write! I can definitely relate. I feel it, i feel the words, i feel the emotion. I am sure many people have been through the same thing. - Sometimes you are close to a person but feel much further

I particularly like the first half of the poem:
I only wish to find you,
In this vast eternity.
To narrow the distances
Between you and me.
To see past all that
You have become
To see the real you
Behind this mask
You've put on.
I still wonder
What truely happened to us?
If we were blindly in love,
Or lost in lust....
